Why is it so hard to find a love that stays?

Human love — it glitters, then fades away.

It promises forever,

but forever never waits.

Your love went away

like a ship sailing in the sea,

quietly, slowly,

taking a part of me.

Now the waves whisper your name,

and the wind repeats the lie —

that love was real,

but only for a while.

Still, I stand by the shore,

barefoot in the sand,

watching the distance

where your heart used to stand.

And though the tide

tries to erase your trace,

I’ll keep the ache —

because pain remembers what love once embraced. 🌙
